Located in Vendée not far from the l'Ile de Ré, between La Rochelle and Les Sables-d'Olonne, our Residence L'Océan **** is the perfect destination for those who want to combine relaxation and discovery. The latter offers a wide range of activities and landscapes. Discover the Marais Poitevin or its few kilometers of cycle paths in the middle of the forest. Visit the La Rochelle Aquarium, spend a day of adrenaline at Puy de Fou or in the "Indian Forest" Adventure Park. Finally, for those who want to relax, 13 km of fine, south-facing sandy beaches await you to relax or go fishing.

The apartments

Ideally located facing the ocean, just a few strides from the city center, our apartments have everything to seduce you. Located in front of the sea, waking up has never been so tender.

- All the apartments are spacious, bright and tastefully furnished. The living room has a dining area and relaxation area, with a fully equipped kitchen; hotplates, microwaves, refrigerator… at your stoves! A bathroom with bathtub, or a shower each one does as he pleases. Some accommodations have a terrace or balcony with seaview. A heated outdoor swimming pool for basking in the sun all day long.

The apartments can accommodate 4 to 6 people.

La Tranche sur mer

Located in the Vendée department in the Pays de la Loire region, La Tranche Sur Mer is a coastal resort in the South Vendée, where its many spots for surfing, kitesurfing, sand yachting and windsurfing make the reputation of this region.
La Tranche-Sur-Mer is a rural town, it is one of the cities with a low population density.
The town, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, is also a coastal town. As such, special planning laws apply to the protection of spaces, sites and natural landscapes in order to safeguard the ecological balance.
Surrounded by forest and marshes, La Tranche sur Mer has kept its authenticity with its white houses with tiled roofs.
Discover La Tranche-sur-Mer and its beaches, in front of l'île de Ré ! Enjoy a lazy break on La Belle Henriette beach, on La Grière beach, or on Les Rouillères beach you will have understood, the beaches it is not what is missing. And for more thrills, experience one of the many water activities offered by this region or go on a mop along the coast by bike, bike paths have been specially designed to allow you to ride around in complete safety. La Tranche-sur-Mer is also a destination where it is good to eat with more than 40 restaurants, ranging from creperie to gourmet restaurant through a pizzeria.

Activities

: The location of the Residence l'Océan is ideal for outdoor activities. Many activities await you there in order to have the best possible stay.

Not far from the latter, you will find water activities such as windsurfing, skimboarding and surfing or if you are more down-to-earth, you have the choice, among other things ; for instance petanque with a reserved area, skateboarding with an outdoor skate park, and tennis with two indoor courts and four outdoor courts. Your muscles will also appreciate a day of intensive sport with these 40 km of secure cycle paths, or a two-kilometre fitness trail equipped with apparatus around the oceanic bassin.

Take advantage of the pleasures offered by this city by sending yourself into the air for your first flight or by flying over the islands with their magnificent landscapes. For the pleasure of the little ones, pony rides held on a lanyard for children from 2 to 6 years old are available there.

Things to see

Located in the south of Pays de la Loire region, the Vendée is one of the departments that does not count its natural treasures. Nature reserves with abundant and diverse fauna, regional natural parks and a real paradise for nature lovers.

Among other things, there are 140 km of immense beaches surrounded by pine forests, state forests and dunes. A range of beaches for all tastes, including those with fine sand such as Talmont Saint-Hilaire beach, or rocky coves such as the Corniche de Sion and its rocky Sentinels, three kilometers of wild rocky coast to indulge in your favorite activities. Boisniver beach in Sion is a magnificent place where nature continues to surprise walkers, especially with the maritime sagebrush with its pointed silvery leaves. These are punctuated by the high and low tides of the Atlantic.

Maison de la nature de la Grenouillère: In the aquatic environments located on the Vendée Grand Littoral territory, you will find a wide variety of landscapes that are both visually and aurally breathtaking. From lakes to rivers, from estuaries to the coast, they are home to abundant animal and plant life. In order to better appreciate and discover these species, La Maison de la Biodiversité de la Grenouillère has developed a new museography which emphasizes the aesthetic appeal of these landscapes, discovering these wonders sensorially and aurally and also through an animal documentary by 25 mins.

To the South of La Tranche sur Mer is La Baie de L'aiguillon which is a vast preserved natural area of 5000 hectares, a pure paradise for migratory birds. The latter can be discovered by boat in the estuary on a hike or to fly over in a seaplane to enjoy magnificent expanses.

Late arrival (after 8 pm)

In case of late arrival or check in on the closing day of the reception, the residence must be informed by phone.

Key collection

Check in is from 5 pm onwards. The keys are available at the reception on presentation of your voucher.

Deposit

300 euros/accommodation on arrival. Refund on departure after inventory of fixtures - If the accommodation is not clean, 60 Eur (2 pers.accommodation) or 100 Eur (4 pers. accommodation) or 120 Eur (6 pers. accomodation) will be charged

Cleaning

End of Stay Cleaning is not included in the accommodation price and clients are required to clean the property before departure. Please note that cleaning products are not always provided.

An End of Stay Cleaning deposit of 28-112Eu (depending on type) will be taken upon arrival which will be returned along with your Damage Deposit.

Payment conditions

Madame Vacances offers 3 options for payment:

1) Pay in 3 instalments if booked more than 60 days prior to arrival:
- 15% deposit at time of booking, 15% payment 60 days prior to arrival & 70% payment 30 days prior to arrival

2) Pay in 2 instalments if booked more than 30 days prior to arrival:
- 30% deposit at time of booking & 70% payment 30 days prior to arrival

3) Pay in 1 payment (always available and obligatory if booked less than 30 days prior to arrival)

Cancellation Conditions

In case of cancellation the following amounts will be retained:
-Between 30 and 21 days before arrival: 45% of the total amount
-Between 20 and 8 days before arrival: 60% of the total amount
-Between 7 and 4 days before arrival: 90% of the total amount
-Less than 3 days: 100% of the total amount

By train : La Roche-sur-Yon or Les Sables d'Olonne station By plane : Nantes-Atlantique Airport Public transport : The bus that serves La Tranche stops at the Mogette roundabout (1km from the residence). There is also a free shuttle bus that runs in high season.
