The Residence Les Terrasses de Pentrez offers guests easy access to all of the attractions of the town of Pentrez, overlooking the exquisite Dournanez Bay and beyond to the stunning Atlantic Ocean. Our accommodation can be found in the heart of the beautiful Brittany region, providing picturesque surroundings with views of the sea and pretty countryside, perfect for a relaxing break.

Located just 500 metres from the sandy beach and just a few minutes drive from the centre of Pentrez, the property is close to the fantastic history, culture and activities which can be found in this beautiful region. Guests can try their hand at one of the water sports, try something active on dry land or spend their days browsing the shops, creperies and restaurants of the town. Those wanting to explore the area further will also find easy access to interesting Finistere towns and beaches, ideal for crabbing.

The Apartments

An idyllic place in which to relax and enjoy the great outdoors, the Residence les Terrasses de Pentrez offers pretty apartments and cottages with stunning views over the sweeping Douarnanez Bay. These charming semi-detached cottages and apartments offer the chance to soak up the incredible landscape, with a traditional and homely feel. Enjoy a dip in the heated swimming pool onsite while the kids check out the play area in the bright French sunshine. Cottages and apartments at the Residence sleep from four to six guests, and all offer modern neutral décor and terraces with outdoor furniture, which allow guests to make the most of the fresh sea air and bright sunshine. There is a fully equipped kitchen in each, with a microwave, fridge and extractor fan, allowing guests to make their own meals as and when they please. TV is included. There is also a cosy living room area ideal for those wanting to unwind after an action-packed day, as well as Wi-Fi and television which can be hired for a small supplement.

Board Options

All of the Residence les Terrasses de Pentrez accommodation is self-catered, meaning guests can make the most of the local shops and markets in the area. There are several restaurants within the Pentrez resort, serving traditional French and international cuisine, as well as fresh seafood and crepes. A small grocery shop sells essentials for picnics and cooked meals, or guests can drive to the nearby supermarkets, or visit the local towns for a more extensive range of restaurants.

The swimming pool is opened for the summer season in compliance with hygiene and sanitary regulations.

Activities

With such a gorgeous seaside location, many of the attractions at Pentrez are focussed on the water. Take part in all kinds of surfing, including kite surfing and windsurfing, before heading aboard the catamaran to get up close and personal with the local marine life. Try some sand yachting and sailing or head to the onsite swimming pool to chill out or catch some rays.

If activities on dry land are what you're looking for make sure you explore the pretty green grassy areas and coastal walks of the Douarnanez Bay as you enjoy a leisurely hike or picnic. There are bicycles for hire, and animal lovers will enjoy horse riding, which is also available in the nearby area.

Down at the Pentrez Plage, golden sands await, perfect for sandcastles while little paddlers will enjoy the warm, shallow waters. Play a game of football or have fun in the rock pools as you hunt the local resident crabs.

For those looking to relax, the resort itself offers a spa as well as plenty of shopping.

Things to see

Apart from drinking cider and eating crepes, Scoff Tropical Gardens and the Nantes-Brest Canal are also worth exploring and provide a fantastic day out.

There are also abbey ruins and local festivals Brittany-style throughout the Finistere region, in addition to megalithic sites for history fans and the intriguing Forest of Huelgoat.

Late arrival (after 8 pm)

Please inform the reception or the reservations centre in advance and we will advise you of the late arrival procedure.

Key Collection

Check in is from 5 pm onwards. The keys are available at the reception on presentation of your accommodation voucher.

Deposit

Upon arrival, you have to pay a deposit of 300Eu (Visa, Mastercard) for your property. This will be returned to you within 15 days of your departure assuming there are no charges for breakages or additional cleaning.

Cleaning

End of Stay Cleaning is not included in the accommodation price and clients are required to clean the property before departure. Please note that cleaning products are not always provided.

An End of Stay Cleaning deposit will be taken upon arrival which will be returned along with your Damage Deposit.

Payment Conditions

Madame Vacances offers 3 options for payment:

1) Pay in 3 instalments if booked more than 60 days prior to arrival:
- 15% deposit at time of booking, 15% payment 60 days prior to arrival & 70% payment 30 days prior to arrival

2) Pay in 2 instalments if booked more than 30 days prior to arrival:
- 30% deposit at time of booking & 70% payment 30 days prior to arrival

3) Pay in 1 payment (always available and obligatory if booked less than 30 days prior to arrival)
- 100% at time of booking

Additional Extras:
- Any extras added more than 30 days prior to arrival will be added to final payment
- Any extras added after final payment to be paid at time of addition to booking

Cancellation Conditions

- If you choose Standard Conditions

If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the date of arrival: 30% of the price of the holiday
-Between 30 days and 21 days before arrival: 45% of the price of the holiday
-Between 20 days and 8 days before arrival: 60% of the price of the holiday
-Between 7 days and 4 days before arrival: 90% of the price of the holiday
-Less than 3 days before arrival: 100% of the price of the holiday

- If you choose Free Cancellation Conditions

If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the arrival date: repayment of the deposit
-Between 30 days and the date of arrival: 100% of the total price will be retained.
-No show: the total price of the reservation will be retained

- If you choose Non Refundable Conditions

As part of the low price non-refundable offer, in the case of a cancellation you will be invoiced for the total amount at any time
