Ideally located on the edge of the ocean, at the heart of the prestigious Grand Site of the Wild Dunes of Gâvres to Quiberon, the Semaphore of Etel offers you two elegant and comfortable lodgings, nestled in an exceptional wild and natural environment. You will be surrounded by a breathtaking expanse of sand, stretching over more than 35 km, offering a breathtaking view and a multitude of possibilities for hiking and water sports.

The apartments

The two accommodations consist of a studio that can accommodate 2 adults and one child, as well as a duplex apartment for 4 people.
Studio for 2 people:
The studio is located on the ground floor. It consists of a living area with a fully equipped kitchenette and a lounge area with a sofa bed. A bathroom with an Italian-style shower completes this space.
Duplex Apartment for 4 people:
On the ground floor, you will discover a welcoming living area equipped with a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, washer-dryer, and refrigerator. You will also find a cozy seating area and a living room. A bedroom and a bathroom with an Italian-style shower complete this floor. Upstairs, enjoy a bedroom with a sea view and a bathroom with a bathtub.
Every room in these accommodations benefits from a direct panoramic view of the ocean, and each terrace offers a 180-degree panorama of this exceptionally vast and unique landscape. Furthermore, these two apartments can be combined to accommodate from 6 to 7 people.

Benefits

Bed linens and towels are provided, TV, WiFi and cleaning are included.
From April to September, a shuttle service allows you to cross the Etel River between the Semaphore side and the other side of the estuary, the port of Etel. You can bring your bicycles along for the ride.

The resort

Étel is a charming small town located in Brittany, in the department of Morbihan, France. Nestled in the heart of the Breton region, Étel enjoys a privileged location by the sea, along the famous Ria d'Étel, an estuary that offers an exceptional maritime landscape.
This Breton town is renowned for its picturesque fishing port, where you can admire traditional fishing boats and savor fresh seafood in local restaurants. Étel is also known for its beautiful sandy beach, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and water activities.
In addition to its coastal attractions, Étel has a rich maritime and cultural history. You can explore the tuna fishing museum, which tells the story of tuna fishing in the region, as well as the Saint-Cornély church, a religious building dating back to the 16th century

Activities

The accommodations are perched on the edge of the sea, providing an ideal proximity for engaging in a wide range of water activities such as sailing, surfing, paddleboarding, and much more. Whether you prefer to walk or hop on a bicycle, you'll also have the opportunity to explore the expansive wilderness of the dunes. A network of trails, green lanes, and bike paths beckons you to traverse this area, which hosts nearly 700 plant species as well as rare, and sometimes even unique, animal species found in Brittany.

Payment conditions

Madame Vacances offers you 3 payment solutions:
1) Pay in 3 installments, and pay only 10% at reservation (this payment facility is possible for any reservation made more than 70 days before the stay).
- 10 % at reservation, 10 % 2 months before arrival and the balance 1 month before arrival.

2) Pay in 2 instalments (provided you book more than 30 days before your stay).
- 30 % at reservation and the balance 1 month before arrival.

3) Pay in 1 time
-Any additional services added 30 days before the arrival date will be added to the final payment.
-Any additional services added after the last payment will be paid at the time of the addition.

*(only for reservations made more than one month before arrival).

For payments by check or vacation check the deposit must be made by credit card - Visa, Master Card, American Express and the 2nd and / or 3rd payment can be made by check or vacation check.

For reservations made at least one month prior to the arrival date, you must pay 30% deposit by credit card and the rest can be paid by check or vacation check.

For reservations made at least two months before the date of arrival, you must pay 15% deposit by credit card and you can pay the next 2 installments by check or check vacations.

Arrival date less than 40 days: The total amount must be paid online, by credit card, at the time of booking.

Cancellation conditions

If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:

- Between 30 and 21 days prior to arrival date: 45% of total accommodation cost

- Between 20 and 8 days prior to arrival date: 60% of total accommodation cost

- Between 7 and 4 days prior to arrival date: 90% of total accommodation cost

- 3 days or less prior to the arrival date: 100% of total accommodation cost

By Car
From Paris, head towards Rennes, then Auray, and finally Belz. Upon leaving the village, take the direction of Plouhinec. Then, 200 meters after the Leroix Bridge, turn left towards "Barre d'Etel" (At the corner of the Pharmacy).
By Train
Closest train station: Auray, then take a taxi to the semaphore.
