Situated close to the charming village of Saint-Denis-d'Oléron and only a 10-minute drive from the bustling Cotinière Port, you'll be perfectly located to explore the island. A laundry room is also available for guests. For relaxation, the residence features a lovely heated indoor/outdoor pool (open from May to late October, weather permitting), a children's playground, a ping-pong table, and a pétanque court.

The Island of Oléron

Known as "La Lumineuse" or "The Luminous Island," Oléron is the largest island on the French Atlantic coast after Corsica. Its diverse landscapes—from sandy beaches and pine forests to salt marshes and charming villages—make it a perfect destination for a holiday blending nature and culture, with plenty of outdoor activities on offer.

Port de la Cotinière, the leading artisanal fishing port in Charente-Maritime, is a must-see. Here, you can watch the fishing boats return with their catch and savour fresh seafood like sole, sea bass, and langoustine.

For culture enthusiasts, the island boasts iconic historic sites such as Fort Boyard, Chassiron Lighthouse, and the picturesque salt marshes, which allow visitors to delve into the island's rich history and traditions. Payment conditions

Summer France offers you 3 payment solutions:
1) Pay in 3 installments, and pay only 10% at reservation (this payment facility is possible for any reservation made more than 70 days before the stay).
- 10 % at reservation, 10 % 2 months before arrival and the balance 1 month before arrival.

2) Pay in 2 instalments (provided you book more than 30 days before your stay).
- 30 % at reservation and the balance 1 month before arrival.

3) Pay in 1 time
-Any additional services added 30 days before the arrival date will be added to the final payment.
-Any additional services added after the last payment will be paid at the time of the addition.

*(only for reservations made more than one month before arrival).

For payments by check or vacation check the deposit must be made by credit card - Visa, Master Card, American Express and the 2nd and / or 3rd payment can be made by check or vacation check.

For reservations made at least one month prior to the arrival date, you must pay 30% deposit by credit card and the rest can be paid by check or vacation check.

For reservations made at least two months before the date of arrival, you must pay 15% deposit by credit card and you can pay the next 2 installments by check or check vacations.

Arrival date less than 40 days: The total amount must be paid online, by credit card, at the time of booking.

Cancellation conditions

Cancellation fees for bookings decided by the accommodation provider are as follows:
If the client cancels a reservation, the following amounts will be retained:
Up to 31 days prior to the arrival date: no charge
Between 30 and 21 days prior to the arrival date: 25% of the total accommodation cost
Between 20 and 15 days prior to the arrival date: 50% of the total accommodation cost
Between 14 and 8 days prior to the arrival date: 75% of the total accommodation cost
From 7 days prior to the arrival date or in case of no-show: 100% of the total accommodation cost

Access

By car

From London (approx. 9h): Take the Eurotunnel or ferry to Calais, then follow the A16 south towards Rouen. Continue on the A28 and join the A10 towards Bordeaux. Exit at junction 35 for Saintes and follow signs to Oléron, then head toward Saint Pierre and Saint Denis/Phare de Chassiron. About 1 km before Saint Denis, at the Bétaudière roundabout, take the last exit and follow Michelière for 2 km. Turn left towards "Les Huttes"; the residence is 50 m past the Les Huttes campsite on the left.

By train

From London, take the Eurostar to Paris, then the TGV to Rochefort-sur-Mer or Saintes (each within 1 hour of the residence).

By plane

La Rochelle Airport (1h30, with connections to Oléron) and Rochefort-sur-Mer Airport (50 min).
