Summer France Résidence Les Rives Marines is located in Le Teich, within the stunning Landes Natural Park along France's Atlantic Coast. To the south of the country, Bordeaux is just a half hour drive away and offers a delicious taste of France's famous cuisine, including a selection of Michelin-starred restaurants.

Located on the bank of the river and just 300m from the nearest sandy beach, there are chances to simply relax and unwind during your stay, or make the most of outdoor activities. The town centre is also just 700m from the accommodation and has shops, cafés and restaurants as well as other facilities.

The Appartements Les Rives Marines will open on Friday 5/6 and we are looking forward to welcoming our guests very soon to the Arcachon area.

The apartments

Relax and unwind into holiday mode during your stay at the Résidence Les Rives Marines. The river is easily accessible, as well as the golden sands of the Atlantic coastline. Matching the tranquil feel of the area, the apartments sleep from two to eight people and are all tastefully decorated with a bright and airy atmosphere.

All of the apartments have their own individual terrace with garden furniture for those wanting to bask in the sunshine. The bright open spaces and fully equipped kitchenettes complete with four hot plates, a microwave, fridge-freezer and a dishwasher add a homely feel, leaving guests free to prepare their own meals or explore the restaurants nearby. Onsite there are plenty of activities, including table tennis, bike rental and an outdoor heated swimming pool (with a maximum capacity of 50 people) surrounded by sun loungers.

Facilities

The Residence Les Rives Marines is composed by 107 apartments in the local style of colorful fisherman huts.Several activities are available such as badminton and pétanque. Our guests will also enjoy the superb outdoor heated pool, free access to WiFi (at the reception), table tennis facilities and bike rental on site.

Board Options

All of the apartments at the Résidence Les Rives Marines are self-catered, allowing guests to make their own picnics and prepare their own meals in the fully equipped kitchenettes. There is a supermarket just five minutes from the property, as well as two larger shops a further 10 and 15 minute drive away. Guests wanting to enjoy the French cuisine in the local restaurants will find crêpes, pizzerias and much more, made with delicious fresh local ingredients from the farms in the area.

Le Teich

A pretty seaside town located in the Landes Natural Park along the Atlantic coast of France, Le Teich is the ideal place for those wanting to simply get away from it all. Drive through the local area, stopping off at fishing villages, historic towns and oyster ports or spend the day in nearby Bordeaux for markets, boutiques, world-class restaurants and more. Famous for its birds, flora and fauna, as well as beautiful landscapes and activities, there's plenty to keep all visitors entertained in the town.

Activities

Le Teich is a celebrated area, well known for its incredible bird life. Thousands of people visit each year for a chance to see over 300 species of birds in their natural habitats, as well as the stunning surroundings. For further insight head to Le Teich Bird Reserve for the day. Golf lovers will find an excellent selection of courses in the area, including the Golf Blue Green Gujan, which is home to pine trees, lakes and white sand, with famously tricky holes.

Head out onto the water for kayaking, sailing or canoeing, or rent a boat and go trout fishing. For a great way to see the natural landscapes of the area visitors can also rent bikes or book a horse riding trip. The Gascogne Landes National Park is the perfect place to enjoy a picnic filled with French goodies and treats.

Things to see

La Dune du Pilat is the tallest sand dune in Europe and offers astounding views over the surrounding area. With landscapes straight out of a film the dune is fringed by the Atlantic on one side and the tranquil forest on the other.

Aqualand can be found in Gujan Mestras and is the ideal way to keep the family entertained for the day. Enjoy thrills and spills as you test your fear of heights on the rollercoasters and log flumes.

Puy du Fou will entertain both adults and children with its educational and cultural dancing shows, plays and more.

Late arrival (after 8 pm)

Please inform the reception or the reservations centre in advance and we will advise you of the late arrival procedure.

Key collection

Check in is from 5 pm onwards. The keys are available at the reception on presentation of your voucher.

Deposit

On arrival you have to pay a deposit of 400 Eur (Visa, Euro Card, French Cheque) for your apartment. This will be returned to you within 15 days of your departure assuming there are no charges for breakages or additional cleaning.

Cleaning

End of Stay Cleaning is not included in the accommodation price and clients are required to clean the property before departure. Please note that cleaning products are not always provided.

An End of Stay Cleaning deposit of 42-112 Eur (depending on type) will be taken upon arrival which will be returned along with your Damage Deposit.

Payment conditions

Summer France offers 3 options for payment:

1) Pay in 3 instalments if booked more than 60 days prior to arrival:
- 15% deposit at time of booking, 15% payment 60 days prior to arrival & 70% payment 30 days prior to arrival

2) Pay in 2 instalments if booked more than 30 days prior to arrival:
- 30% deposit at time of booking & 70% payment 30 days prior to arrival

3) Pay in 1 payment (always available and obligatory if booked less than 30 days prior to arrival)
- 100% at time of booking

Additional Extras:
- Any extras added more than 30 days prior to arrival will be added to final payment
- Any extras added after final payment to be paid at time of addition to booking

Cancellation conditions

If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the date of arrival for a stay between 27/6 and 29/8: 30% of the price of the holiday
-More than 30 days before the date of arrival for a stay outside those dates: refund of the monies paid
-Between 30 days and 21 days before arrival: 45% of the price of the holiday
-Between 20 days and 8 days before arrival: 60% of the price of the holiday
-Between 7 days and 4 days before arrival: 90% of the price of the holiday
-Less than 3 days before arrival: 100% of the price of the holiday

- If you choose Free Cancellation Conditions

If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the arrival date: repayment of the deposit
-Between 30 days and the date of arrival: 100% of the total price will be retained.
-No show: the total price of the reservation will be retained

- If you choose Non Refundable Conditions

As part of the low price non-refundable offer, in the case of a cancellation you will be invoiced for the total amount at any time
